Hi! I’m Amanda, and I love romance, red lipstick, and baking! I can’t say for certain when I read my first romance book (maybe it was a Sarah Dessen one?) that “stole” me away from my then-preferred genre of choice (fantasy), but I do remember when I took the leap from YA to Adult. An online thread boasted that “If you love Twilight you will love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.” And, while they weren’t wrong… ENTIRELY different styles. 😀
When I’m not hiking and camping with my husband and our dogs, I can be found trying a new cookie recipe, devouring books by the dozen, daydreaming about the next chapter in my work in progress, drinking wine –or all of the above!
